Why did I lose access to my child’s pharmacy profile when they turned 18?

When a minor turns 18, they’re considered a legal adult, so they will need to manage their own prescriptions.

Any adults managing their prescriptions for them will automatically lose access. This helps us maintain HIPAA standards, which is meant to protect a person’s health information.

Adults can manage other adult's prescriptions with permission. To do that, your child has to create their own pharmacy account. Then you can request to manage their profile.
