What is the information next to my passkey in my account?

When you add a passkey, you might see some details listed next to it. Here’s what each part means and why it matters:

  • Heading: This will tell you where your passkey is stored. The most common will be password managers such as iCloud Keychain (Apple), Google Password Manager (Android or Chrome), or Windows Hello.
  • Last used: This tells you the last time the passkey was used to log in. These details can give you a quick way to confirm that everything looks right and no one else is using your info.
  • Created: This shows the day you added the passkey to your account. It helps you keep track of when it was set up and can help you identify it from other passkeys if you have multiple added to your account.
  • Device name: This is the phone, tablet, or computer model that you used to create the passkey. If you use more than one device, this helps you tell them apart.
