Can I delete my passkey?

You can remove your passkey from your H-E-B account anytime. This means the passkey can no longer be used to log into your account. Just be sure to remove it from your password manager as well to avoid any confusion if you decide to add a new passkey later.

You can delete a passkey from the account section of HEB.com or the app.

On the web:

  1. Log in and click the arrow next to your name at the top right corner of your screen. A menu will appear.
  2. Select “Account”
  3. Find “Personal information” toward the top and then select “Edit”
  4. Select “Passkeys”
  5. Find the passkey you want to remove. You can identify it by the date it was created, the time and place it was last used, and the device that it was created with.
  6. Select “Remove”
  7. You’ll be asked to confirm your decision. Select the “Remove” button.

In the app:

  1. Log in and tap the profile icon at the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Find “Personal information” toward the top and then select “Edit”
  3. Tap “Passkeys”
  4. Find the passkey you want to remove. You can identify it by the date it was created, the time and place it was last used, and the device that it was created with.
  5. Tap “Remove”
  6. You’ll be asked to confirm your decision. Select the “Remove” button.
  7. Once removed, the passkey can’t be used to log into your H-E-B account. Be sure to also remove the passkey from your password manager to avoid any confusion in the future.
