The flavorful mix of long grain rice and wild rice works well as part of myriad cooked rice meals or as a delectable flavored rice side dish — whichever option you choose, everyone sitting around the table will love your culinary creations. Only a few easy steps separate you from a tasty dish; simply combine your long grain and wild rice with water in a medium-sized saucepan, bring the mix to a boil, and then reduce the heat to Low. After letting it simmer for 20 minutes, keep your rice covered and away from heat for about five minutes. Finally, fluff your rice and serve a delicious, savory meal that's bound to impress. If you have a microwave, combine your rice and water in a microwave-safe glass dish and keep it inside on High until the water is absorbed. Partake of BEN'S ORIGINAL Long Grain and Wild Rice with red or yellow bell peppers, ground turkey and shredded Monterey jack cheese for a memorable dining experience. To bring a bit of Middle Eastern flair to your meals, serve an exquisite wild rice tabbouleh by mixing your long grains with chopped parsley, freshly diced tomatoes and peeled cucumbers.
