  • Boil: Stove Top 1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet and 1 3/4 cups water in a medium saucepan. Stir well. 2. Bring to a full boil, reduce heat (medium-low to medium) and simmer covered 10–12 minutes until most water is absorbed. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand covered 5 minutes Fluff with a fork and serve. To prepare 2 boxes use 2 3/4 cups of water and follow stove-top cooking directions. Microwave: Microwave* 1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet and 1 3/4 cups water in a microwave-safe glass dish. Stir well. 2. Cover tightly with microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap and microwave on high for 12–15 minutes until liquid is absorbed. 3. Let stand covered for 5 minutes.
