Ingredients

3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, plus more as needed for pasta
1 cup(s) white onion, diced
1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced
1 Lb H-E-B Sweet Italian Sausage Links, removed from casings
28 Oz crushed tomatoes
16 Oz H-E-B Organics Whole Wheat Linguine
1/3 cup(s) fresh Italian parsley, roughly chopped
1/3 cup(s) fresh basil, roughly chopped
1 cup(s) grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

In a large heavy bottom pot over medium-high heat, add oil and onions.

Cook about 4 minutes then add garlic and sausage. Cook an additional 5 to 7 minutes or until browned, stirring constantly.

Add tomatoes and fill can with water and add to pot. Bring to a light simmer then break pasta adding to pot.

Cook pasta 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then add parsley and basil. Cook an additional 2 minutes, or until pasta is cooked and sauce thickens.

Season to taste as needed with salt and pepper and garnish with cheese.
