Pepper BBQ Bacon and Blue Cheese Burgers

4 H-E-B Prime 1 Blue Cheese Burger, 8 oz patties
4 H-E-B Bake Shop Texas Sized Seeded Hamburger Buns
1/2 cup(s) H-E-B Specialty Series Texas Style Barbeque Sauce
8 H-E-B Fully Cooked Bacon
4 romaine lettuce
8 tomatoes, sliced

Instructions

Heat charcoal grill 40 minutes, until covered with a layer of gray ash, then move heated charcoal to cover half of grate.

Grill 1-inch-thick burgers 5 minutes per side directly over medium-low heat with lid open.

Move burgers to cool half of grill, then cook 5 to 7 minutes per side with lid closed. Remove when burgers reach 160°F internal temperature throughout.

Allow burgers to rest 2 minutes before placing on bun.

Warm buns (split side down) and bacon on warm side of grill 2 minutes with lid closed, then break bacon strips in half.

Spread 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce on each half bun then top with 4 pieces bacon, burger, lettuce and tomatoes.
