Crock-Pot Banana French Toast

Recipe makes 8 Servings

1 Tbsp butter, softened
1 loaf crusty French bread, sliced
6 large eggs
1 1/2 cup(s) whole milk
1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
12 Oz Vela Farms Banana Jam
3 medium ripe bananas, sliced
1 Tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Set crock pot to low setting. Rub interior of crock with butter.

Starting at 1 end of the crock-pot, stand slices of bread up next to each other until the crock-pot is filled.

In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar and banana jam. Pour over bread.

Tuck banana slices between bread slices then sprinkle with cinnamon.

Cover and cook 4 hours on low.

Remove slices to plates and top with butter and maple syrup if desired.
