Ingredients

Recipe makes 24 Servings

1 non-stick cooking spray
16 1/2 Oz yellow cake mix
1 cup(s) walnuts
1 cup(s) old fashioned oats
2 eggs, large
1/3 cup(s) canola oil
1 Tsp ground ginger
16 Oz cranberry sauce

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F.

Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Mix together cake mix, walnuts, oats, eggs, canola oil and ginger in a large bowl.

Spread 1/2 of mixture onto bottom of prepared baking dish (reserve other 1/2 mixture for topping).

In a separate bowl, gently stir cranberry sauce and then evenly spread on top of prepared crust.

Pinch and press pieces of reserved mixture and scatter over cranberry filling.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes until light brown.

Let bars cool 30 minutes and then cut into 24 portions.
