Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon

1 cedar plank
1 Tbsp H-E-B Spice Company Seafood Seasoning
3 Lb H-E-B Wild Fresh Alaskan Salmon Fillet
2 Tbsp H-E-B 100% Pure Olive Oil

Instructions

Soak plank in cold water for 30 minutes.

Place a heavy glass bowl over the plank to keep it submersed in water.

Once soaked, sprinkle cedar plank with seafood seasoning.

Prepare charcoal fire or heat gas grill on high for 10 minutes with lid closed.

Meanwhile, brush salmon with olive oil and sprinkle with seafood seasoning.

Place salmon, skin side down, on the plank.

Place the plank with salmon directly on the grill and close the cover.

Grill salmon for 10-15 minutes or until it flakes easily from the center (internal temperature is 140°F).

A light smoke will begin to rise after 3-4 minutes, then turn the grill to a low heat (335°F - 350°F).
