1 3/4 cup(s) H-E-B Cane Sugar, reserve 1 1/2 cups
2 2/3 cup(s) H-E-B Baker's Scoop All Purpose Flour, reserve 2 1/2 cups
1 1/2 Tsp H-E-B Ground Cinnamon
5 cup(s) Pink Lady Apple, sliced, peeled
1 1/2 Tsp H-E-B Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Hill Country Fare Baking Soda
1 cup(s) Hill Country Fare Canola Oil
4 H-E-B Large Grade AA Eggs
1/4 cup(s) Hill Country Fare orange juice
2 Tsp H-E-B Pure Vanilla Extract

Heat oven to 350°F.

Grease and lightly flour a 10-inch fluted tube pan, and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon, then add apples, and toss gently to coat; set aside.

In another large mixing bowl, combine 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, baking powder and baking soda; add oil, eggs, orange juice and vanilla, and beat with an electric mixer on low to medium speed for 30 seconds, then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

Pour 1/3 of the batter (about 1 1/2 cups) into the prepared pan, then cover with half of the apples; repeat layers until all batter and apples are used.

Bake about 75 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool cake, and remove from pan.
