  • Remove husk before eating.

    To Heat Tamales: Steamer (Recommended): Remove tamales from package. Steam them with open end facing up in a vegetable steamer for 13 − 15 minutes until soft and moist. Internal temperature should read 165°F. For quantities less than a dozen, steam for less time.

    Microwave: Remove 2 - 4 tamales from package and place them on a microwave-safe plate. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave for approximately 1–1-½ minutes until soft and hot.
