  • Stovetop:
    Place frozen peas in boiling water and return to a boil. Cook uncovered on high heat for appropriate time or to desired tenderness. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.

    For 2 cooked cups: Use 1 cup water and cook for 2 - 3 minutes
    For 4 cooked cups: Use 2 cups water and cook for 3 - 4 minutes

    Microwave:
    Place frozen peas and water in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Cook for appropriate time or to desired tenderness, stirring halfway through cooking time. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.

    For 2 cooked cups: Use 2 Tbsp water and cook for 3 - 4 minutes
    For 4 cooked cups: Use 1/4 cup water and cook for 5 - 6 minutes
