    This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. Cook thoroughly. Keep raw meat separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
  • Oven:
    Trim fat to 1/4''. Marinate in liquid smoke (optional). Drain excess liquid and preheat oven to 250°F. Season brisket with garlic, onion and celery salt. Place in a large roasting pan. Cover tightly and cook in oven for 6 - 7 hours. Drain juice if more than 1/2 cup is rendered. Pour barbecue sauce over brisket and cook an additional hour or until tender. Recommend slicing 1/4'' thick across the grain.
