  • Store in a cool, dry place. How Italians Cook their Pasta: Serving size 1/2 cup (55 g). 1. Bring a pot of 4-1/2 cups of water to a boil. 2. When the water boils, add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. 3. Add 1/2 a cup of dry pasta per person to the boiling water (To get the best taste and texture, the pasta should not be added to the water prior to boiling). 4. Cook the pasta for 5-6 minutes. 5.
