  • Keep frozen. Keep frozen  Do not thaw. For Food Safety and Quality: Follow the cooking instructions. Product should be cooked to 165 degrees F before eating. Cooking Instructions: In a large nonstick skillet, heat 3 tablespoons vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Carefully add 1/2 bag (about 3 cups) frozen hash browns, forming an even layer, and cook 5-7 minutes undisturbed. Drizzle 2 tablespoons oil over the top and carefully turn hash browns with a large spatula. Cook without stirring 5-6 more minutes or until golden in color. Caution: Ice crystals on frozen food can cause spattering when added to hot oil. Add product carefully. If oil spatters, cover and reduce heat. When spattering stops, remove cover and return to cooking temperature. Be careful not to spatter or spill oil onto hot burner of range.
