  • Dampen brisket with water or oil and apply brisket rub generously on all sides. Refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor and tenderness. Bake covered in oven for 6 hours at 225°F or BBQ over low fire for 8 - 12 hours until tender and a minimum internal temperature of 175°F.
