    KEEP FR
  • Keep frozen. H-E-B Steamable Vegetables are packaged in a unique bag that can be placed directly in your microwave. Just remove the bag from your freezer and steam cook in your microwave. Do not open, cut or pierce the bag. As the vegetables cook, the bag will rise and swell as the steam forms. Once removed from the microwave, the bag will soon deflate. Microwave steam-cooking maximizes vitamin and flavor retention (Compared to boiling and stove-top steaming methods) - so your H-E-B Steamable vegetables taste better and are better for you! Microwave Method (Recommended): Place the H-E-B Select Parisienne Carrots bag with this side facing up. Do not open, cut or pierce bag. Microwave on High power for 4 to 5 minutes or to desired tenderness. Contents will be hot! Carefully remove from bag and season to taste. Note: The power of microwave ovens will vary. You may have to adjust cooking time or temperature. Stovetop: Open bag and carefully pour H-E-B Select Parisienne Carrots in boiling water and return to a boil. Cook covered on High heat for 9 to 10 minutes or to desired tenderness. Drain and season to taste. Note: Equipment may vary. You may need to adjust cook time and/or temperature.
