  • Season as desired. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large skillet over Medium-High heat. Brown meat 2 min/side. Wipe oil from the skillet. Add 1/2 cup beef broth, water, or other liquid. Add chopped vegetables if desired. Cover tightly. Simmer gently over low heat for 45 minutes or until tender. Add liquid if needed and thicken pan juices for gravy.
