Ingredients

  • 1 lb Giblets and neck, weights may vary
  • 1 Celery stalks
  • 1 tsp H-E-B Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Hill Country Fare Ground Black Pepper
  • 6 cups H-E-B Select Ingredients Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth
  • 1 Carrot(s)
  • 1/2 Yellow onion(s)

Instructions

  1. Cut carrot, celery, and onion into large pieces.
  2. Place ingredients in a large stockpot. Bring to a boil over High heat, reduce heat to Low and simmer 2 hours while turkey roasts.
  3. Strain stock, reserving giblets and neck for use in gravy or dressing recipes.
