
Shaved Celery Root & Garlic Pizza

Serves 8
- 16 oz frozen pizza dough
- 1 cup(s) pizza sauce, or as needed
- 1 cup(s) shredded mozzarella, plus more as needed
- 1/4 cup(s) pecorino romano cheese, grated
- 1 cup(s) celery root, shaved or very thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic, shaved or very thinly sliced
Instructions
- Follow package instructions for thawing pizza dough in the refrigerator. Once thawed, cover and set on counter until dough is soft and pliable, approximately 2 to 3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 450ºF.
- Spray a standard 14 to 16 inch round pizza pan with non-stick spray. Stretch dough to fit the pizza pan, pressing dough to edges of pan.
- Spread approximately 1 cup of pizza sauce over dough. Sprinkle cheeses evenly over the top followed by celery root and garlic.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes rotating half-way through cooking. Cook until crust is puffy and golden brown.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before cutting into 8 slices with a pizza cutter.
