
Prosciutto Wrapped Maple Roasted Pears

- 2 large firm Bosc pears, stems removed and bottoms trimmed, pears cored and cut into quarters
- 1/4 cup(s) maple syrup, plus more as needed for brushing over pears
- 3 oz thinly sliced prosciutto, as needed for wrapping pears
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, as needed for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Arrange pears on prepared sheet pan. Brush maple syrup over pears and season with salt and cracked pepper.
- Place in oven and roast for 20 to 25 minutes or until just soft to allow pear flavor to concentrate. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
- Once pears have cooled, wrap each in prosciutto and refrigerate. When ready to serve, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
