Ingredients
Serves 6
- 6 each H‑E‑B Bare Bread Crustless White Sliced Bread, approximately 6 slices, or as needed
- 6 each H‑E‑B Natural Hickory Smoked Cheddar Sliced Cheese, plus more as needed
- 6 each True Texas BBQ Pickle Spears, plus more as needed
- 1/2 cup(s) salted butter, melted plus more as needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a sheetpan with parchment paper and set aside.
- On a cutting board, roll out each slice of bread on all sides until very thin and an even square. *Bread should be thin enough to roll easily.
- Place a slice of cheese on each piece of flattened bread. Add a pickle spear in the top left corner of bread and roll tightly to finish at lower right corner.
- Secure bread with toothpicks as needed to keep them rolled tight. Place on prepared sheet pan with longer side of bread down.
- Brush each pickle in a blanket with melted butter and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until bread is just browned and toasted.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving. Serve with ranch dressing or mustard.
