Unsaved Pickle Zombie Finger Appetizers

Ingredients

  • 10 each whole dill pickles
  • 10 each skewers, apple style skewers preferred
  • 1/4 cup(s) lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/4 cup(s) low sodium Tajín seasoning
  • 1/2 cup(s) queso fresco, crumbled finely

Instructions

  1. With a vegetable peeler, peel 3 strips from the outside of each pickle to form a striped pattern. Push a skewer halfway into each pickle.
  2. Place the lime juice in a shallow dish or plate. Mix the dill with the Tajin and place on a separate plate. On another plate place the crumbled cheese.
  3. Take a pickle skewer and roll to coat in lime juice. Let extra drip off then roll in Tajin mix, then finally in queso fresco. Repeat with remaining pickles and garnish with more queso fresco if desired.
