
Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Arrabbiata

Ingredients
Serves 8
- 1 lb penne pasta, or your favorite pasta
- 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced fine
- 1 cup(s) green bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup(s) white onions, chopped
- 5 each HEB Philly Cheesesteak Sausage links, casing removed and meat crumbled
- 24 oz Midtown by HEB Spicy Arrabbiata Sauce
- 1/4 cup(s) fresh basil, chopped or torn as needed for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat with a large pinch of salt.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- While pasta is cooking, place a large sauté pan over medium heat, add oil and allow to get hot.
- Add garlic, peppers and onions and sauté until peppers and onions are just starting to color.
- Add in sausage and stir-fry everything until meat is nicely browned.
- Add pasta sauce and bring to a simmer. Add pasta and toss to combine. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
