
M&M’S Mini Skillet Cookies

Ingredients
Serves 8
- 1 cup(s) all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup(s) butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup(s) old fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4 cup(s) M and M'S Holiday Milk Chocolate Candy, divided use
- 2 oz vanilla candy coating
- 2 each drops green food color, plus more as needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease six (3.5-inch) Mini Lodge Cast Iron Skillets and set aside briefly.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy then beat in egg yolk and vanilla until incorporated.
- Stir in flour mixture until combined then stir in oats and half of the M&M’s. Divide into 6 portions and press each into prepared skillets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until tops are set and golden around the edges. Let cool in skillet on a rack for at least 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
- Melt candy coating according to package directions, then mix in green food coloring. Add to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip. Pipe a 1/2-inch border around edges to resemble a wreath shape. Decorate with remaining M&M’s.
