Ingredients
Serves 4
- 2 cup(s) BakeHaven Keto Flour
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tbsp baking powder
- 4 oz unsalted butter, very cold and cut or shredded into small pieces
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup(s) water
- 1/2 cup(s) half & half
Instructions
- In a large bowl, sift and stir together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Add butter pieces to dry ingredients and use a pastry cutter or your hands to work butter into the flour mixture until it resembles wet sand.
- Combine vinegar, water, and half & half. Pour into dry ingredients and stir to form a ball. Knead for 1 minute (it will be sticky) then wrap or cover in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- While dough chills, preheat oven to 375ºF. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside briefly.
- Remove dough from refrigerator and place on a lightly flour-dusted surface. Use a rolling pin to roll out dough to about 3/4 inch thick. Cut out 12 equal-sized biscuits with a biscuit cutter or a sharp knife.
- Place on prepared baking sheet and brush tops with a small amount of half and half. Bake for 12 minutes until browned on top.
