
Kashmiri Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 2 Large fresh garlic clove(s), minced
- 3 cups Chopped Trinity Blend
- 1 cup White onion(s), sliced
- 8 oz English peas, divided into 4 oz. portions
- 1 cup Celery stalks, medium diced
- 12 oz Brooklyn delhi coconut cashew korma simmer sauce
- 24 oz Prepared Mashed Potatoes
- 1/2 cup Red bell pepper, medium diced
- 1 tsp Curry powder
- 1/2 cup Italian blend shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup Green onion(s), thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. When beef is no longer pink, drain carefully and return pan to heat.
- Add garlic, trinity mix, half the peas, and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper then add korma sauce and stir to combine. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch or similar sized casserole dish.
- In a large bowl, stir together remaining peas, mashed potatoes, and curry powder. Spread evenly over the ground beef mixture.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 30 minutes until browned around the edges and heated through.
