Unsaved Just Some Delicious Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 2 cup(s) whole wheat lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 each yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 each Peeled Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 3 cup(s) Marinara Pasta Sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup(s) Fat Free Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Rinse with cold water, drain, and set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, cook beef, onions, and garlic over medium heat in a large skillet until meat is no longer pink.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer then remove from heat.
  5. In a medium bowl, make cheese filling by mixing ricotta and mozzarella.
  6. In a 13 x 9 inch baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles and cheese filling. Repeat, ending with meat sauce.
  7. Bake uncovered approximately 40 minutes, or until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
