- 1 Fresh lemons, rind only
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger root, about a 1/2 inch piece
- 1 1/2 cups Water

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to a simmer. Continue to cook 10 minutes, then strain out hibiscus, lemon rind, and ginger. Return liquid to pot and simmer.
- Reduce liquid by half. Cool and store covered for up to a week.
