- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 16 oz Reduced fat pork sausage
- 1 cup(s) Red onions, finely diced
- 1 cup(s) Red bell pepper, finely diced
- 4 oz Hatch green chilies, diced
- 32 oz Easy Melt Queso Blanco
- 32 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup(s) Whole milk
- 1 cup(s) Chicken broth
- 6 oz H-E-B That Green Sauce, medium
- 2 medium Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1/2 cup(s) Fresh cilantro, leaves finely chopped
Instructions
- Add oil and sausage to a large pan over medium-high heat. Stir to break apart meat and cook for 7 to 9 minutes or until sausage is browned and fully cooked.
- Add onions and bell pepper. Sauté 5 to 6 minutes, or until onions start to soften.
- Reduce heat to medium and add green chilies, Easy Melt, cream cheese, milk, broth and That Green Sauce. Stir frequently while melting.
- Continue heating through until cheese is fully melted and warm. Add tomatoes and fresh cilantro, and stir through just before serving.
- Serve warm with fresh tortilla chips.
