Ingredients
- 12 Chicken tamales, corn husk wrappers removed
- 1 1/2 cups Green chile stew
- 1 1/2 cups Easy melt cheese, cut into small cubes or shredded
- 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped, as needed for garnishing
- 1/3 cup Green onions, diced or minced, as needed for garnishing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ºF.
- In an oven safe medium-sized casserole dish, pack unwrapped tamales then evenly cover with green chili stew.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over tamales to ensure even distribution when cheese melts.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly. Remove from oven and garnish with cilantro and green onions for serving.
