
Green Beans With Shallots

Ingredients
- 1 1/8 tbsp Kosher salt
- 2 lb Fresh green beans, ends trimmed and green beans cut into 3-inch pieces
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups Shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Fresh Italian parsley, finely chopped
- 1/8 tsp Ground black pepper
Instructions
- Bring 3 quarts water to a boil in a 4-quart pot; add 1 tablespoon salt.
- Cook green beans in boiling water 2 to 4 minutes just until crisp-tender. Drain well.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shallots and sauté 1 minute.
- Add green beans and parsley; toss until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper.
