- 1 1/2 tsp fresh turmeric root, peeled and finely grated
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 medium garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger root, peeled and grated
- 1/3 cup(s) tahini
- 15 oz canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except olive oil in a food processor. Run on high speed, scraping down sides as needed, until mixture is smooth.
- With machine running, add olive oil in a thin stream and process until smooth and creamy. Eat immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
