  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 lb garlic peppercorn beef tips
  • 1/2 cup(s) yellow onions, medium diced
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) frozen peas
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup(s) beef broth
  • 1 cup(s) heavy cream
  • 1 lb penne pasta, cooked, drained, and lightly oiled

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. When hot, add beef tips and cook for 7 minutes or until browned and crispy on the outside.
  2. Stir in onions and frozen peas, and sauté for 2 minutes to soften onions. Season with salt and pepper then add beef broth. Cook for 2 minutes until liquid is reduced by half.
  3. Pour in cream, stir to combine and bring to a simmer. Add cooked pasta and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired, and serve.
