
Creamy Chicken Poblano Tortilla Soup

Serves 4
- 1 each 12 oz. package Fully Cooked Poblano Chicken
- 1 each 10.5 oz. can H-E-B Cream of Poblano Soup
- 1 cup(s) whole milk
- 3/4 cup(s) fresh pico de gallo, mild, medium or hot, as preferred
- 6 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 oz tortilla strips
Instructions
- Heat a medium-sized sauce pan or skillet over medium heat. Add fully cooked chicken, condensed soup, milk and pico de gallo to pan.
- Heat 5 to 7 minutes or until simmering and heated through, breaking up any large pieces of chicken with a spoon. Turn off heat and add cheese and tortilla strips to soup. Stir to combine.
- Serve warm and garnish with addition cheese or cilantro if desired.
