
Bock and Brown Sugar Bratwurst

- 1 tsp grapeseed oil
- 5 each bratwurst links
- 1 large yellow onion, julienned
- 8 oz sauerkraut
- 12 oz Cookwell & Company Bock and Brown Sugar Marinade
- 2 tbsp coarse grain mustard
- 3 each bell peppers, seeds removed, and sliced
Instructions
- Line a crock pot with a slow cooker liner for easy clean up.
- Heat a medium pan over medium-high heat and add oil. Sear bratwurst for 1 to 2 minutes, then flip and sear the other side for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the onions, bratwurst, and sauerkraut to the slow cooker.
- Pour half of the bottle of marinade into a small mixing bowl, add the mustard and mix. Pour the mustard mixture and the remainder of the marinade into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. In the last hour of cooking add in the bell peppers. Slice up the bratwurst to serve with bell peppers.
