
Birria Taco Bowl

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb Prime chuck roast
- 2 tbsp Grapeseed or avocado oil
- 32 oz Birria Starter
- 2 cups White rice, cooked according to package directions
- 8 oz Shredded fresh iceberg lettuce
- 8 oz Queso Oaxaca shredded cheese
- 7 oz Pico de gallo - mild
Instructions
- Cut chuck roast into a large dice. Season on all sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add oil and sear meat on all sides.
- Pour in Birria starter and bring to a simmer. Cover and turn heat to low, and cook until meat is tender, about 2 to 3 hours.
- Serve birria with cooked rice, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo.
