- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 1/2 oz diced red onions
- 24 each fully cooked meatballs
- 1/4 cup(s) water
- 14 oz barbecue sauce
- 4 tbsp yellow mustard
- 4 each bolillo rolls, split open lengthwise
- 1 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and red onions, and cook for 1 minute. Add meatballs and water, cover, and steam for 2 minutes.
- Remove lid, add barbecue sauce and stir to combine. Turn heat down to low, cover, and cook for 8 minutes or until meatballs are heated through.
- Spread mustard on cut sides of each bolillo. Place meatball mixture into rolls and top with shredded cheese. Serve while warm.
