Unsaved Basmati Spicy Garlic Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup(s) yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Aji Garlic Powder, new product
  • 2 cup(s) basmati rice
  • 3 cup(s) chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place butter in a saucepot and melt over medium-high heat.
  2. Once butter is melted, add onion and sauté for 3 minutes.
  3. Add spicy garlic powder and stir around.
  4. Add rice and stir for 1 minute.
  5. Add broth, reduce temperature to a simmer and cover. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat but keep covered.
  7. Allow rice to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
