Unsaved Bacon Wrapped Dates with Manchego Cream

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Whipped Regular Cream Cheese Spread, softened at room temperature
  • 2 cups Manchego Cheese, shredded
  • 3 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 Peeled Garlic Cloves, crushed, approximately 1/8 ounce
  • 12 oz Pitted Organic Fresh Medjool Dates, approximately 18 to 20 dates.
  • 1 lb Black Pepper Bacon, 8 to 10 slices, cut in half, or as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. While oven is preheating, add cream cheese, Manchego cheese, heavy whipping cream and garlic to a blender. Pulse until smooth and season to taste.
  3. Using a spoon or small offset spatula, stuff dates with a little cheese mixture and press to seal.
  4. Tightly wrap each date with a piece of cut bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed. Place on prepared pan in rows.
  5. Bake 30 to 45 minutes or until bacon is nicely crisp. Cool before serving. Garnish with fresh chives if desired.
