This Merlot was Estate Grown in the Wente family's sustainably farmed vineyards in Arroyo Seco, Monterey. Sandstone is an important component of the gravelly soils in Arroyo Seco, enabling these vines to receive balanced nourishment and creating a smooth, medium-bodied Merlot with subtle flavors of plum and spice.
