Wel-Pac Dashi Konbu is a sun-dried Japanese kelp that's often used to make soup stock. Most commonly featured in bases for miso soup or udon noodle soups, it imparts a brothy dashi flavor. To use kombu, cut it into bite-sized pieces and simmer in hot water for 5 - 30 minutes before adding to whatever you're making.
