About Volpi
Volpi was founded on the idea to bring the centuries-old tradition of dry-curing meats from Italy across the ocean to the American Midwest. In 1902, John Volpi opened his first store in St. Louis, selling cacciatore to local clay miners in the area. Today, after years of great family success, third-generation CEO Lorenza Pasetti stays true to her great-uncle's techniques and recipes that he brought from Italy. She's proud that Volpi is a WBENC-certified business (Women's Business Enterprise National Council). The Volpi secret is simple — to use all-natural ingredients that are always fresh, like Raised Responsibly pork that's locally sourced from farmers they trust.
