Skinner Spaghetti

Product Description

From the Italian word for 'strings'; these round thin strands are our most beloved pasta shape. A versatile pasta shape, spaghetti can be used in entrees, side dishes, cold salads, or broken and used in soups. Toss spaghetti with almost any pasta sauce of varying thickness. Tomato or cream sauces, broth-based sauces, olive oil tosses and meat sauces all work well with spaghetti.

Preparation Instructions

Step 1 Pick Your Serving Size: 2 Portions: 1/6 pkg pasta; 3 qt. water; 2 tsp salt. 4 Portions: 1/3 pkg pasta; 5 qt. water; 1 tbsp salt. 8 Portions: 2/3 pkg pasta; 8 qt. water; 2 tbsp salt. Step 2 Pick Your Time/Firmness: 10 minutes: al dente; 11 minutes: firm; 12 minutes: tender. Maintaining Perfect Pasta: To keep cooked pasta fresh for later use, toss with small amount of olive oil or sauce, and refrigerate. Step 3 Cooking Directions: 1. Bring water to a rapid boil. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt. 2. Add pasta and stir; return to rapid boil. 3. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally. 4. Drain well. Serve as desired.
