    Allergens and safety warnings

    Although beans have been previously sorted and cleaned you must inspect dry beans thoroughly to remove damaged beans and foreign materials.
  • Cooking Instructions: 3 cups water; 1 cup of Sadaf Mung Beans; 2 tbsp Sadaf olive oil or grapeseed oil. In a saucepan bring the water to a boil, add all ingredients cover and simmer whole mung beans over low heat for 45 to 60 minutes or until all of the water is absorbed and the beans are tender. Variation: Add the cooked mung beans to 1/4 tsp. of spices sauteed: garlic, turmeric and curry powder go well with mung beans. Cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Mix in 1/4 cup chopped steamed vegetables to the mung beans, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, green beans and peas go well with mung beans.
