Rodelle’s Organic Chocolate Extract is very similar to our vanilla extract in its composition, the cocoa bean is distilled in a solution of water and alcohol. The flavor of rich chocolate is captured in our fine organic extract. In fact, vanilla extract can be replaced with chocolate extract in any recipe. This creates a deep chocolate base flavor instead of a vanilla.

Make HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE SYRUP: 1 cup water 1 1/2 cups Rodelle Gourmet Baking Cocoa 3/4 cups Powdered Sugar 2 tsp Rodelle Organic Chocolate Extract. In a saucepan brinw water to low simmer. Add in Rodelle Gourmet Baking Cocoa, whisk until smooth, turn off heat. Add powdered sugar and whisk to incorporate. Add Chocolate Extract and whisk to incorporate.
