Purina ONE® Tender Selects Blend With Real Salmon starts with your adult cat’s nutritional needs first to help support her optimal health, inside and out. With real salmon as the number one ingredient – and zero percent fillers – all of our high-quality ingredients have a purpose. Omega-6 helps give your cat a radiant coat and healthy skin while the crunchy kibble helps reduce plaque build-up and whiten teeth. With 32g of protein per cup, it provides the protein your cat needs as a carnivore and helps support strong muscles, including a healthy heart. It is enriched with vitamins and minerals for strong bones and joints and is highly digestible so more nutrition goes to work inside your cat. Plus, it has a taste cats love. Purina ONE provides purposeful nutrition for lifelong whole body health.
Store in a cool, dry place. Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts: Cat Weight: 5-9 lbs: 1/3-2/3 cup. Cat Weight: 10-14 lbs: 2/3-1 cup. Recommended daily feeding amounts for adult cats with normal activity using a standard 8 oz / 250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 112 g of Purina One. Adult Cat Feeding: Fill your cat's bowl with the recommended measured amount every morning and allow your cat to eat on a free choice basis throughout the day, rather than as a single feeding at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain an ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Monitor your cat's weight and adjust food amount accordingly. Kitten Feeding: Kittens generally nibble solid foods at 3-4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Purina One available to these kittens at all times. After weaning, at 6-8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. If water is added, use more than one part warm (not hot) liquid to three parts Purina One, changing frequently to ensure freshness. Making the Switch to Purina One: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Purina One can make in your cat, please allow 7-10 days to ease the transition from your cat's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina One until you're feeding Purina One exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Fresh Water, Proper Diet & Veterinary Care: Be sure to provide fresh water in a clean container for your cat daily. Proper diet, exercise and veterinary care are the best ways to keep your cat healthy. If your cat hasn't had a check-up in the past year, please make an appointment today. Feeding for Reproduction: Purina One provides all the nutrients needed during reproduction. It is not necessary to add supplemental vitamins or minerals. Food consumption can vary during gestation. Feed the amount needed to maintain ideal body condition in the pregnant female. After the kittens are born, feed the nursing female all she wants to eat. Food intake can double or quadruple during lactation.
