Honey bees collect pollen as their source of vitamins, minerals, lipids, and proteins. Different plants have different protein levels and amino acid profiles, which is why the pollen varies in color throughout the year.
Start gradually by taking small amounts to minimize potential side effects and work your way up to a tablespoon daily. Great protein topping for ice cream, yogurt, salads, smoothies, and much more!
