World-renowned, Maldon’s distinctive pyramid salt flakes have been skilfully made using the same traditional artisan methods since 1882.

Since 1882, our salt has been made with the same traditional artisan methods in the coastal town of Maldon. It is unchanging yet ever-changing, constant yet continuously challenging. However, the salt always remains the same. Four generations of master salt makers have been hand harvesting the naturally formed pyramid crystals that have become Maldon‘s signature.
